Here at Well Life, we have a Clinical Pharmacist who in collaboration with your primary care provider can help you optimize medication use effectively and safely for patients with diabetes, asthma, cardiovascular disease, anticoagulation and renal disease- and just about any chronic condition for which you may need medication management. The inappropriate use of medications can be catastrophic. She and her team of doctor of Pharmacy candidates from MCPHS University (Formerly known as Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Allied Health Sciences) can help choose the most effective medications that are cost-effective and screen for drug interactions and prevention of adverse effects. She can also work with you and your primary care provider on preventative care such as weight management, dietary issues and smoking cessation as well as acute conditions such as exacerbation of asthma/COPD, urinary tract infections etc. Dr. Goldman is also board certified in advanced diabetes management and is a certified diabetes educator.
