Acupuncture treatments can transform your mental state

Oriental Medicine has thriving health at the core of how it formulates treatment for a patient to restore health. Whether a complex or simple condition, whether the condition is acute, or chronic, Oriental medicine can profoundly engage the healing mechanism’s the body has to help restore wellness. In practice acupuncture is an effective, natural way to treat any number of physiological problems like, pain conditions, joint problems, gastrointestinal conditions, menstrual irregularities, and the list goes on. But, acupuncture isn’t just physiological. There’s an emotional and a spiritual component as well. Aligning the body’s energy system can dramatically improve one’s state of being. Acupuncture treatments can transform your mental state, help change old habits, and help you deal with stress in a way best suited for your body and lifestyle. All of these benefits are attained without prescribing a single dose of medication.

Acupuncture treatments last approximately an hour. It generally takes several visits to learn how quickly one’s body is responding to treatment. By 4-5 visits we can better assess the rate of change a patient is experiencing and create a plan for the number and frequency of visits necessary for healing. For patients who use acupuncture as part of their regular health maintenance, visits can be seasonally, or some prefer monthly treatments to maintain thriving vibrant health.
